So what comes next? Certainly not Chairman of the Bored! Will you continue this story?
Per Virtual Moonlighting history, "Chairman of the Bored" is the next episode following "Little Problem Annie (Part II)."

With that said, however, additional stories could surely be written detailing David and Maddie's summer apart, sorting through their own issues, David (and Bert?) working the Anselmo case in Palm Springs (which apparently doesn't go well), Maddie in Chicago, etc. as they prepare to reconnect in the the fall (when "COTB" picks things up).

This would certainly help to ease the transition to VM's overall lighter tone.

yes. Never liked how those stories seemed to sweep all the problems under the table and resort back to when David and Maddie were 'friends' (even though to me they were never just friends) and there seemed little to no sexual tension between them. JMO.
